Course Details

The French Lick Resort is the home of two-and-a-half great golf courses. The Pete Dye Course opened in 2009 and was honored as one of the best new "places you can play" of the year. Beware: you can play, but you'll have to pay. It's also one of the most expensive "places you can play". The Donald Ross Course opened in 1917 and has been a regional favorite for close to a century. The 9-hole Valley Links was made from the remnants of an 18-hole course adjacent to the French Lick Springs Hotel. It now serves as a "family friendly" option - kids under 12 play for free!  You can find hotels near French Lick Resort at TheRealPlaces.com.

Notes

Bionic Golf Gloves

Yeah, the name is a little goofy and they're a bit pricey. However, they're extremely comfortable and last a loooong time compared to standard-issue golf gloves.

PeakPulse Golf Rangefinder

If you're not already using a rangefinder on the course, you're probably not hitting as many greens as you could. This highly-rated model gets the job done at a reasonable price.
